Using "piste bullies" converted into mobile ski lifts, we start from the Galtür ski area via Zeinisjoch to the Kops dam lake, the starting point for an interesting and varied forest downhill with possibly some deep powder snow stretches down to the Montafon village of Partenen.

The Vermunt cable car takes the skier up to 1,730m (5,676 ft) at a leisurely pace. Vans can take you up to the Bielerhöhe through tunnels.

With good weather you have a view of the highest peaks of the Silvretta, for example Piz Buin.

After a hearty rest, it is rapidly downhill on skis back to Wirl.
